Anna Petersen, PA-C

Anna Petersen, PA-C, MPAS, graduated cum laude from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science and Health, and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies.  Prior to attending PA school, she was a medical assistant at the 4th Street Homeless Clinic and a pharmacy technician at the University Hospital.  Anna also spent time in Costa Rica studying Spanish and worked for a year in Portland, Oregon as an AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers In Service To America) volunteer.  There she coordinated literacy programs in low-income elementary schools and assisted the homeless in receiving free prescription medications from pharmaceutical companies.  In addition to practicing medicine, Anna loves to speak Spanish, enjoy Utah's great outdoors, play the piano, travel and spend time with family and friends.
