Dorothy L. Williams, MD, PhD

Dorothy L. Williams, MD, PhD, is an adult neurologist with a special interest in patients with headaches, including migraine headaches, sinus headaches, tension headaches and cluster headaches. Her Ph.D. is in psychology and contributes to her ability to appreciate and treat the whole person. She also sees patients with other neurological problems such as seizures, numbness/tingling, nerve pain and Parkinson's disease.

Dr. Williams completed medical school at Indiana University and her residency in neurology at the University of Utah. Prior to medical school, her professional career included 15 years as a classical musician both performing and teaching. Dr. Williams has been practicing in Salt Lake City since 2000 and has been caring for patients at the Foothill Family Clinic North location since 2005. Outside the office she enjoys hiking, reading, photography, birding, jazz, culinary explorations.
